Community Group Funding Request Form

Thank you for your interest in submitting a request for funding to be considered by the La Cañada Flintridge City Council. To be eligible for funding, an applicant must: 1) Be a nonprofit organization recognized under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c) & State of California. 2) Be in good standing with the State of California 3) Maintain its principal place of business within the City of La Cañada Flintridge, or demonstrate that the majority of the funded services directly benefit City residents. 4) Provide a completed IRS Form W-9. 5) Not receive other financial assistance from the City during the same fiscal year, including: a) Other City grant programs b) Fee waiver programs c) Direct service contracts (unless expressly authorized by the City Council) 6) Propose activities that: a) Serve a defined public purpose; b) Are not currently provided directly by the City; c) Are not substantially duplicative of services already available within the City through City-partnered organizations; and d) Represent programs or services the City Council has determined to be in the public interest to support.
