Appointments to these bodies are made by the City Council, with members serving terms of up to four years, and may be reappointed for a second term. Most positions require residency in the City for eligibility and serve at the pleasure of the City Council. Members are permitted to serve in only one commission, council, or committee at a time. Except for the Youth Council, all members receive a stipend of $50.00 for each meeting attended, up to a maximum of $100 per month.
