Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training
The County of Los Angeles Fire Department is hosting a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training in the City of La Cañada Flintridge! CERT training is a free resource that can help create a neighborhood preparedness network in your community. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved training curriculum provides residents with information on basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Classes will be held over 8 consecutive Wednesday evenings from April 2nd until May 21st from 6pm to 9pm, at the La Cañada Flintridge City Hall.
