The City of La Cañada Flintridge will host a town hall meeting with Southern California Edison (SCE) senior executives on Monday, July 28, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall to discuss critical electricity reliability issues and future improvements. The event will be open to all residents and stakeholders, with a particular focus on addressing concerns for those served by SCE’s Haskell circuit.
The town hall will provide a direct opportunity for residents to engage with SCE senior executives regarding ongoing power reliability challenges. SCE officials will present information on the factors contributing to recent outages and discuss their comprehensive plans for enhancing grid stability and service delivery in the City.
“We understand the frustrations our residents have experienced due to power interruptions, particularly those on the Haskell circuit,” said Mayor Michael T. Davitt. “This town hall is a crucial step in fostering transparent communication and holding SCE accountable for delivering the reliable service our community deserves. We encourage everyone to participate, listen to SCE’s plans and bring their questions forward.”
The event will be broadcasted live on the City’s website and government access channel.
Following SCE’s presentation, there will be a dedicated question and answer session, allowing attendees to pose questions directly to the utility’s senior executives.
