The City of La Cañada Flintridge has launched a community survey to gather feedback from residents about the City’s response and recovery efforts following the Eaton Fire.
The survey invites residents to share their experiences and observations during and after the incident, with particular focus on the City’s coordination, communication and support efforts. As a contract city, La Cañada Flintridge works closely with Los Angeles County agencies for emergency response while maintaining its own local responsibilities and Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
“Community feedback is essential as we evaluate and enhance our emergency operations,” said City Manager Daniel Jordan. “By learning from our residents’ experiences, we can strengthen preparedness, response and recovery efforts to make La Cañada Flintridge even more resilient.”
Survey results will help inform the City’s Eaton Fire After Action Report, an independent analysis conducted by a third-party consultant. This consultant-led review supplements the City’s internal evaluation and will provide an objective assessment of the City’s emergency management and community engagement practices.
The consultant will incorporate survey responses into their analysis to identify lessons learned, best practices and opportunities for improvement in future emergencies.
Residents are encouraged to share their input by completing the survey online at surveymonkey.com/r/LCFCommunity. For more information, please contact Assistant City Manager Arabo Parseghian at aparseghian@lcf.ca.gov or visit LCF.ca.gov.
